Electric Showers work by independently heating the Cold water feed, eliminating the need for Hot water tanks or Hot water storage, this means that the demand for electric power to heat the elements in the shower is so great it demands to be connected to its own individual electrical circuit.

In older buildings or in locations where gas powered hot water is not easily available or accessible, Electric Showers can be an economical option.
